These Terms of Use were updated in January 2017.
This page states the Terms of Use (“Terms”) under which you (“the User”) may use the Bestjobs.lu and the Services.
Bestjobs.lu may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version to this webpage. The User should visit this page periodically to review the most current Terms because they are binding on the User.
Access to and use of this website is provided by Bestjobs.lu and subject to the following Terms.
Use of Bestjobs.lu website or Bestjobs.lu Services constitutes the User’s acceptance of these Terms which take effect on the date which the User first uses the website. Bestjobs.lu reserves the right to update the Terms at any time without notice. The User is responsible for reviewing regularly the Terms and to obtain timely notice of such changes. The Terms are deemed accepted by the User each time that the User use or access any part of Bestjobs.lu website or Bestjobs.lu Services.
If these Terms of Use are not accepted in full, the use of this website must be terminated immediately.
The job posting, CV database and other features of Bestjobs.lu may be used only by individuals seeking employment and/or career information and by employers seeking employees. The User’s use of the Bestjobs.lu Services is also subject to any other contracts the User may have with Bestjobs.lu. In the case of any conflict between these Terms and any contract you have with Bestjobs.lu, the terms of your contract will prevail. The term “post” as used herein shall mean information that the User submits, publish or display on Bestjobs.lu.
The User shall use Bestjobs.lu CV Database as provided in these Terms and in any contract the User has with Bestjobs.lu. The User shall use the Bestjobs.lu Database in accordance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws, and the User agrees the User shall not further disclose any of the data from Bestjobs.lu CV Database to any third party, unless the User is an authorized recruitment agency, staffing agency, advertising or other agency or using the resume explicitly for employment purposes
The contents of Bestjobs.lu, such as designs, text, graphics, images, logos, video, information, button icons, software, audio files and other Bestjobs.lu content (collectively, “Bestjobs.lu Content”), are protected under copyright, trademark and other laws.
All product and company names are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective holders.
The User understands that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, advertisements, messages or other materials submitted, posted or displayed by the User on or through Bestjobs.lu website (“User Content”) is the sole responsibility of the person from which such User Content originated. Bestjobs.lu claims no ownership or control over any User Content. The User or a third party licensor, as appropriate, retain all patent, trademark and copyright to any User Content the User submits, posts or displays on or through Bestjobs.lu website and the User is responsible for protecting those rights, as appropriate.
The User agrees to not:
Violations of system or network security may result in civil and/or criminal liability. Bestjobs.lu will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting Users who are involved in such violations.
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account, profile and passwords, as applicable. The User may not share his password or other account access information with any other party, temporarily or permanently.
The User is responsible for all uses of his Bestjobs.lu registrations and passwords, whether or not authorized by the User. The User agrees to immediately notify Bestjobs.lu of any unauthorized access or use of his account or any other breach of security. Bestjobs.lu will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge.
However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by Bestjobs.lu or another party due to someone else using your account or password.
The User is prohibited from using or removing any content from the Bestjobs.lu website by any means for commercial purposes and from using the website for commercial purposes. Where such use of materials is desired the source must first be identified and written consent provided.
If any of Bestjobs.lu Services requires the User to open an account, the User must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. Employers are solely responsible for their postings on Bestjobs.lu website. Bestjobs.lu is not to be considered to be an employer with respect to the User’s use of Bestjobs.lu and shall not be responsible for any employment decisions, for whatever reason, made by any entity posting jobs on Bestjobs.lu website.
If any of Bestjobs.lu Services requires the User to open an account, the User must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. The User acknowledges and agrees that he is solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of any CV or material contained therein placed by the User on Bestjobs.lu website.
The User understands and acknowledges that he has no ownership rights in User’s account and that if the User cancels his Bestjobs.lu account or the account is terminated, all the User’s account information from Bestjobs.lu, including CVs, profiles, cover letters, saved jobs, questionnaires will be marked as deleted and may be deleted from Bestjobs.lu’s databases and will be removed from any public area of Bestjobs.lu website. Information may continue to be available for some period of time because of delays in propagating such deletion through Bestjobs.lu servers. In addition, third parties may retain saved copies of the User’s information, including CVs or cover letters.
Bestjobs.lu reserves the right to delete any account and its information after a significant duration of inactivity.
The Jobseekers need to find the most relevant positions fast and easily. The Employers need to receive only relevant applications. The following Terms are in place to protect the quality of the content on website and to ensure that both Jobseekers and Employers get the correct and relevant information.

Bestjobs.lu reserves the right to terminate the accounts of any Users, and block access to Bestjobs.lu website of any Users who are repeat infringers of the copyrights, or other intellectual property rights, of others.
Bestjobs.lu contains links to third party Websites. Such third party websites are not under our control and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy of materials or availability of such third-party websites. These links are provided solely as a convenience to the User and not as an endorsement by Bestjobs.lu of the contents on such third-party website. Bestjobs.lu cannot be held liable for any loss or damage which may arise from use of such third party website or contracts entered into resulting from the use of such third party websites. The User acknowledges that the use of such third party websites is done on the User’s risk. The linked third-party website are governed by their own terms and conditions of use.
In no event will Bestjobs.lu be liable for any damages including, without limitation indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or profits, whether in action of contract or negligence, arising out of or in connection with the use of the website.
Because user authentication on the Internet is difficult, Bestjobs.lu cannot and does not confirm that each user is who they claim to be. Because we do not and cannot be involved in User-to-User dealings or control the behavior of participants on Bestjobs.lu website, in the event that the User has a dispute, the User release Bestjobs.lu (and our agents and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential and direct and indirect) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes to the fullest extent permitted by law.
No warranty is given that this website shall be available on an uninterrupted basis, and no liability can be accepted in respect of losses or damages arising out of such unavailability.
Bestjobs.lu encourages the User to keep a back-up copy of any of the User’s Content. To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall Bestjobs.lu be liable for the deletion, loss, or unauthorized modification of any User Content.
We accept no liability in respect of losses or damages arising out of changes made to the content of this website by any third parties. Access to and use of this website is at the User’s risk.
Should the User wish to cancel the Service provided under the Contract at any time during the Period, no part of the Fee is refundable to the User.
